make the base, mix together Equal Parts of Vinegar Catsup Brown Sugar
Water

That's it, and that will do just fine for starters.

Variations:
Now that you have the concept, you are free to experiment: You can use
any Vinegar you want, try any equal value of sweetener, maybe tomato
sauce instead of catsup, and instead of water use the juice from
whatever fruit you put into the stir-fry. I like sweet/sour chicken
with Pineapple chunks, so I use the pineapple juice from the can. As
long as each element is about equal, it will be just fine.
